It is apparently allowed to wildcamp here. No signs saying otherwise. Cool spot, but lots of visitors coming and going into the night. No facilities. KEEP IT CLEAN. Nice to be here at sunrise, but lots of flies!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
What a wonderful spot! Road was washboard for the last 6 miles otherwise really nice. Not a ton of level places but worth it for the views! Very accessible for all vehicle types, check out the golden spike on the way in. We’re in a 170 sprinter, had no issues

Report Check-InAs described. A LOT OF MOSQUITOES! Not very level but there are some places that are close to be level. Partly heavy washboard on the way in, but no 4x4 or high clearance needed. People coming from dusk (7am) till dawn. Make sure you also go to the old Piers where oil is coming out of the ground and then keep on going to the water where the lake is pink and crazy salt formations can be found. Very special and beautiful place! Even with all that mosquitoes ;)
