This place is clean. All cement with power. We didn’t try the water. The pit toilets were close. Maybe cause is off season. 🤷🏻‍♀️ All the other campsites in a 10 mile radius were close.

Open year round! With limited services in the winter. Two other campers here last night. The spots are in a pretty tight cluster with little/no privacy, but the woods around are beautiful. We paid $28.50 (online) for two nights which included a $4.50 reservation fee. Clean and well maintained.

Scan the QR code at the kiosk to check in/ pay for the walk up sites. Make sure to have your own marker/paper to write check in/out info down on your campsite post as kiosk may be out. Arrived at 5pm and had plenty of options (winter camping is great!). Electric hookup works well, very quiet, beautiful, and peaceful.

nice, very small campsite. about 20 sites, which need a reservation. can be done online or I think at the campsite but by the time you get here sites might be taken. thought it would be more empty but I was surprised to have only one or 2 spots available online and so I snagged one and the campsite is basically full, late October. gret location to Des Moines to get some work done in the city, which is why we chose this one. otherwise, sites are too close and open, can see everyone basically from my camper windows. honestly, very cheap for being this close to the city and having electrical at every site.

Very nice campground, only $20/night for electric only. Not a ton of spots and they are all very close together. Very clean and safe, great place to stay if you are in Des Moines. All sites must be reserved online. I booked only 1 hour before arriving and there were still a couple spots available on a Thursday night in September.
