Unfortunately the best options around here are either pull-offs on rt7 or drive forever down a bumpy dirt road. This pull-off is larger than most of the others because it's a little dirt parking lot to view the mountain. This means you can have ~20ft separation to the passing cars instead of ~5ft ;-)
Not perfectly level but good enough for me!
We don't have any photos of this place yet.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Decent pullout which is flatter than many others. Only one van present and room for many. We didn’t stay as it wasn’t quite level enough for our jacks.
Report Check-InPerfect spot near Longs Peak Trailhead. A lot of vehicles passed by early on Saturday morning (around 3:00 and 4:00 am) to head to the TH. No cell signal.
Report Check-InStayed here one night without issues. It’s just a large pull off right next to the road, so there is some road noise. Three other vehicles parked with us. No cell signal.
Report Check-Instayed the night. no problems .
traffic noise not too bad, decreases after midnight. pretty view
Decent size pull off between Longs Peak & Twin Sisters Peak. Noise is minimal(mostly speeding vehicles) Prepare for other vehicles to be there
Report Check-InReconfirming this is a good place to stop for the night. Nice views and during the night it’s a very quiet road. During the day quite some traffic, but not a big road.
Report Check-InUnfortunately the best options around here are either pulloffs on rt7 or drive forever down a bumpy dirt road.
