Stayed here after crossing the border for one night. Flat spot and smelt like flowers

good for group gatherings. tons of land. plenty flat

Report Check-In

We have stayed here 4 times since 2019 and this was the busiest we’ve seen (Early February) but still lots and lots of space. Pretty much every kind of rig was here. Very quiet day and night.
AT&T worked fine. Emptied trash at rest area on Hwy 8 westbound about 10 minutes away. Water spigot at the rest area was no longer available.

Report Check-In

Drove out the American Girl Mine road until the power lines. Many great flat places to camp.
Blazing fast Att and Verizon

Report Check-In

Hard dirt road in and lots of spots both sides of the road. Lots of space for everyone and nice view of the mountains. Far enough from the high heat that it is quiet.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. Very close to the dunes, about 30 minutes. No services but also about 30 mins from Yuma. Quite a few other people here for Xmas eve, all chill. Would come back.

Report Check-In

We have stayed here twice over the past few years. This was a good stop for us to regroup before or when leaving Baja, MX. It’s a good, relaxing place for a few days. Large, flat, open area.
Pros: plenty of room, safe, trash & water nearby at rest area off Hwy 8. plenty of sun for solar, close to Los Algodones, MX for day trip and Yuma, AZ for anything you need.

Cons: not the most scenic area, ATV’s riding around (unless you have an ATV then this place would be awesome and a pro), spotty AT&T (sometimes good and sometimes not), can be windy.
Would definitely recommends
