Description

PLENTY of spots all up and down the road in this area. Instead of going straight to get to Trillium Lake, take a right and there will be a road that has plenty of space on the left and right sides. Massive area with multiple vans and RV's when I pulled in. Right next to everything and still has service! One to two bars Verizon. Happy camping :)

Great spot. Really close to the lake and big “sites” some with fire rings. Only two other cars camping in spots when we arrived at 7pm and didn’t notice anyone else turn up. Very small patches of snow left in trees but the sites were clear from snow

place is closed on May 15th. parked at the snow machine parking next to a couple other rv's. looks like it's free parking.

This is what free camping is about! What a cool spot. beautiful forest, flat sandy ground. Lots of space and it feels like the BLM is trying to keep it open as long as people aren't pigs. Please.please.please... don't be pigs and ruin it for everyone.
Verizon full bars. Nothing else for services. Some fire rings in some "sites" bring your own wood.

Forest Service camping. No services. Probably 30 spots. Kinda like a campground. Signs saying Forest Service is thinking of shutting this place down because of misuse. Keep it clean folks. This is a pretty cool campground. Only about 10 spots taken on this busy Labor Day Weekend.

best spot yet on my socal to Portland trip. good size camp sites. good balance of sun and shade. T-Mobile 5G 3bars. no camp fires allowed during fire seasons.
