Checked it out, no salmon to see and no bears at this time

Lugar bonito e tranquilo, às margens do rio, com um pequeno riacho de água limpa e transparente. Mas, não vimos salmão nem urso. Está em um desvío, um trecho antigo, desativado, da Alaska hight way. Quem vem de Tok, a entrada esta uns 3 ou 4 quilômetros antes, à esquerda e, quem vem da Baía da Destruicao, um quilômetro e meio antes a direita

did not see any plattform. you need to Park on the street or on the opposite site, then there is a small path which you can follow down to a big stone pile and behind is the River. but no Salmon when we were here.

further south there's a rest stop with an observation deck where you can see grizzlies feasting on salmon in the fall. this area on the old Alaska highway will bring you right to the river (much closer) with an unobstructed view. if you're lucky, you'll see some bears!
