Fruit Check | Checkpoint

Fruit check by SENASA. We told them we have 1 mango and they said they are not allowed to go through the checkpoint. We asked if we can eat it now and they just passed us through :)

Controls seem random : there were 2 big buses in front of us, they stopped one, didn’t stop the other, and didn’t even look at us.

it's as said only south bound but they didn't really seem to bother and just waved us through.
peaje is about 100m further south

Banana okay. Other fruits no. Arequipa don't like the fruit-fly. Like in Chile.

They didn't stop us. Just had to pay the peaje

Stopped us and asked to look through the car and asked if we had fruits. When we said only bananas they said okay pass through.
