Description

This is a state park with no fees. It has a bathroom with a sink and a water faucet outside down the dirt road half a mile at the research camp/visitor parking. It is big rig friendly and dog friendly. No bars tmobile 2 bars verizon. There are some historical buildings as well you can explore around, awesome place!

There is a big covered area with picnic tables and a sink. Sign says for reservation only, but it is for events only. Can use if there is no event here.

Open dusk until dawn but spoke to someone and that is for the hiking paths due to black bears and cougars. Make sure you're inside at night. Cop patrolled at night and didn't bother me.

Day use only. I was told to leave by a local busybody!

On our way to the coast and got in late when it was dark. No one here and washrooms were open. Super clean washrooms with running water. Quiet. Met caretakers in the morning who said water is on a well and regularly checked due to county regulations and told us to fill up our tanks if we wanted to. Well cared for as walkways were swept and no garbage at all. 2 bars cell service without using our booster. Several apple trees besides the parking area!!! I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean park, nice big gravel lot with some grass to hang on. Bathrooms, water, takes etc. Few people came in the evening to walk their dogs but no one bothered us.

This spot is awesome. Super quiet, no one to bother you. Seemingly potable water spout. At the picnic shelter the sinks have running water and the outlets have power! I took advantage of it and did all my dishes and made rice in my rice cooker. The bathrooms also have running water, lights, and flush toilets. It feels so much fancier than what I'm used to xD Dog thinks it's a great spot, too.
