Description

On the 559 road to Killbear. Just a picknick site with nothing but a picknicktable right on the site of a wonderfull lake with a very fine view. Direct besides the road but there are only a few cars coming by and it deels very quiet at night . There is room for a few camper vans of all sizes on the gravel parking or even a small tent on the grassy ends.

Good cell service. Quiet. Just off road. Nice lake.

Nice little spot right on the lake but if you’re here in the summer months prepare yourself for the most intense mosquitoes you have ever seen in your entire life! I got here just before sundown and setup my tent as it was setting. The mosquitoes went from 3-100 really quickly. Once I closed my tent door I had to kill about 15 inside the tent and there was no way I was getting out until morning. They seem to have died off in the morning and it’s tolerable again.

Decent place for a tent, probably more suited for a van or small camper, road noise isn’t too bad, only a few cars passing by every few mins. Good spot if you can’t find anything else.

Just off 559 on the way to Killbear Provincial Park. Picnic Table. No amenities. Looks like may be filling station for local fire department, drawing water from Raby Lake. Relatively clean. Space for a couple RV's, room for a small tent. Very close to road. No signs prohibiting camping/stopping. Directions accurate to the km.

Great spot for a quick paddle! Not too many cars were passing during the day but I didn't stay for the night
