Peru
Huge campground for all types of vehicles. Lovely family and children. This place is close to the Laguna Pacucha just a few steps away.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We couldn’t see the campground but we pitched out tent under a pagoda near the ‘Pacucha’ sign and no one seemed to mind. There was no one to ask permission as the restaurant was closed, but we received friendly greetings.
Report Check-InThe place is alittle hidden down an ally but if you ask around you will find it easy.
The owner is a super friendly guy who already knew what I wanted when I arrived with my motorbike. He already pointed to the place where I can place my tent. Such a nice guy and all his workers too. I could use the toilette and camp for free! I gave him 10soles. Huge rigs might have trouble going down the ally. I mean the german and french trucks ;)
Really reccoment to check the place out before or after riding the calle nr. 100.
We arrived at 18:30 and finally did find the place, but everything was closed and even though we pulled up with the car in front, nobody reacted. So not sure how to contact the people and we didn't want to just park there and get a surprise in the morning.
