Tourist Info Center. They are very nice and helpful (but they only speak Portuguese) and have some info on the area.
It's possible to camp in front of the parking lot on the side, away from the street. It’s very secure (police station also very near) and we could use the toilets, plug in electricity and WiFi for free!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Stayed 1 night. Flat spots on concrete. Asked the guy working here if we could park for the night and all was okay, he assured it’s safe and we could use electricity, toilets and the WiFi. Super kind. All for free!
LOTS of noise from loud motorcycles and other traffic, cars with music. We barely slept. It was a Friday before holiday weekend. The ‘kind guy’ unplugged our cable without notifying us and just left in the middle of the night. Really not cool. So potentially great place but with some side notes.
Report Check-InFomos super bem recepcionados pelas funcionários do CAT nós cedendo internet, luz e wi-fi. No terceiro dia nós pediram pra deixar o local. Infelizmente estávamos esperando pra fazer o passeio de Anavilhanas, que não é barato, R$ 500,00 por pessoa e não valeria fazer com chuva.
Report Check-InTourist Info Center. They are very nice and helpful (but they only speak Portuguese) and have some info on the area and flyers layed out. We understood as much as that they offered that we camp in front as its very secure (police station also very near) and use the toilets for free. Would have been a great option, but we ended up at Bella Vista for the shower.
