music until 1am, dud not stay, apparently a "touristic area" but this place is very much dead.. several closed restaurants and stores, all 3 large public bathrooms are all padlocked and closed, swimming in lake is sh*t because it's very shallow several hundred metres out from shore, no tourists around only locals, police station and visitor centre gone, lakeside path is cracked up and deteriorated.. nice enough spot but sadly neglected and forgotten

Update: Don‘t trust, that music stopps at 09:30 PM. We left this place again short before midnight and they still played VERY loud (Sunday evening). We went further down in this recreation area and found easily a quiet spot under shady trees.

Spend 2 very calm nights here. There is music until 21:30, but that is fine if you know it. WiFi works good. Always a nice little breeze

Beau spot pas très loin de la ville pour rester une nuit. Ok pour les big rig avec notre VR de 8 24 pieds. À côté du lac Cocibolca. Il y a des jeux pour enfants en bon état. Des toilettes et douches sont accessibles, mais celles qu’on a visitées sont peu recommandable. On ne voyait plus la couleur de la cuvette tant il y avait des mouches. On est allé un vendredi soir et il y avait de la musique très forte jusqu’à 21h30.

Beautiful spot not very far from the city to stay a night. Next to Lake Cocibolca. There are games for children in good condition. Toilets and showers are accessible, but the ones we visited are not recommended. We couldn’t see the color of the bowl because there were flies. We went on a Friday night and there was very loud music until 9:30. Ok for big rigs.

Bel endroit au bord de l'eau, quoi que très venteux. Plusieurs modules de jeux pour enfants en bon état. Kiosques de nourriture, très tranquille malgré que nous y étions un samedi soir.
Toilettes en face pour 10c, douches pour 25c par personne. Les douches sont très petites et mal organisée, rien pour déposer ses vêtements et le fond ne se vide pas, alors on se retrouve avec de l'eau aux chevilles...
Vue magnifique et beau coucher de soleil! Lac baignable, belles vagues.

Nice spot by the water, albeit very windy. Several children's playgrounds in good condition! Food kiosks, very quiet despite being there on a Saturday night.
Toilets on the other side of the road for 10c, showers for 25c per person. The showers are very small and poorly organized, nothing to put your clothes on and the bottom does not empty, so you end up with water above your feet ...
Magnificent view and beautiful sunset! Swimmable lake, beautiful waves.

Stayed for 2 nights, left the car parked there while visiting the historic center.
Open Wi-Fi that works well.

Right at the lake, regular parking lot, clean, safe. A restaurant nearby with toilets 10 C, several vendors with music till around 10 pm. Direct access to the lake. Fast free WiFi. Quiet at night, at least during the week, might be busy at weekends.
