Description

Huge gravel parking lot for Medicine Wheel Park. No "No" signs and in fact one of the locals in charge of the park said it's technically a 24/7 facility and I should be okay to park overnight.

Big fields and a nearby trail are perfect for dogs and there's even a poop bag station. Fast Google Fi / T-Mobile.

a parking area for a 30 acre Park on the campus of Valley City State University. didn't see any "no" signs so I parked for the night. as for amenities, none, unless you count the doggy bags and a trash bin.

I only saw a little bit around the parking lot nowhere near 30 acres, but this place is beautiful. Valley City State University should be proud of itself. if you come here don't trash it otherwise there will be "no" signs, maybe even a gate.

Pretty gardens and the medicine wheel display is outstanding. The caretaker was very pleasant and said it was fine to stay the night. We enjoyed a few good walks and a beautiful sunset. Temperatures were outstanding with blue skies. A perfect Saturday afternoon. The placards around the trail are very interesting so if you stay, I encourage you to walk the trail.

Large gravel area easy for any rig to turn into. One van in addition to us being there. Good cell service.

Report Check-In

Great place to spend the night. Nice paths to walk around as well.

Report Check-In

As described, it’s a nice gravel lot with a well maintained grass area and short walking path and trail. No issues playing fetch with the pup and met a few nice people stopping through. Stayed for one night.
