Close to Zion. Many spots, close together. Quiet, safe. Kind of busy in the evenings, clears out during the day. Tiny creek in the trees.

Report Check-In

Some fire rings scattered about the area. Beautiful views. Very busy, and not much tree cover to privately go to the bathroom. There was plenty of space available. Roads were a little rough, but we still managed them with a minivan. Quiet at night, despite being busy.

Great spot and quiet at this time of year. Good Verizon cell reception. Closest BLM we found to Zion would stay again

Plenty of parking, be are this is a busy site and you will hear people coming in late. Also there is a rooster that roams the sites, which was definitely my favorite part! 😂

Great spot as everyone else mentioned! Glad to see respectful folks enjoy the privacy and appreciate the peace and quiet this gorgeous location offers

Really enjoyed this quiet spot. Some sites have a fire pit. Far enough from busy highway so you don't hear cars and trucks, good phone reception.

Great place to stay. Hopped around the area for a few weeks and constantly found ourselves coming back and staying here for convenience. Dog friendly, not a lot of traffic, couple of rock rings for fires. I run At&t wifi in our van and it ran very strong the entire time.

We arrived around 7pm and there were quite a few campers already. We easily found a level spot. Trees on one side provided plenty privacy even though the spot was not far from the road.

Babbling brook all night! This place was a bit crowded, but it’s super close to Zion and quiet. High clearance required for one washed out section

Report Check-In

Arrived late in the night (10 PM). Found space to camp. Had some problems while entering and returning back to paved road from camp site with my 2wd. I would recommend High clearance 2wd vehicle. or be cautious.

Report Check-In

Great place to camp there are plenty of spots with good views. Lots of nats here in the summer.

Report Check-In

Great spot for a night near Zion. Wish I'd known about this sooner, wouldn't have bothered staying in the expensive campsites in Zion! No amenities.

Report Check-In

Nice stay with only 3 other campers. Right next to the street but didn’t hear the traffic at all. Nice view on the mountains and a lot of shaded spots. Even a fireplace was there. No 4x4 required but drive in slow at the entrance as it is steep.

Report Check-In

Arrived late after doing laundry and showering near the Zion entrance. Lots of people here but no issues staying for a quick overnight. Really close to Zion (~15 mins) so it worked out great to start hiking Angels Landing by 6 am. Limited/no Verizon/Visible service.

Report Check-In

Stayed for 4 nights. Pretty crowded, a lot of other van lifers & RVs around but worked perfectly for wanting to be 20 minutes from Zion & 10 mins from Kolob!

Report Check-In

Very nice BLM land off Kolob Terrace Road 3/4 mile north of hwy 9. Pulled into BMX track area where there are many flat spots to camp overnight. Very quiet even on the weekend. Highly recommend. Only 20 minutes from ZION NATIONAL PARK.

Report Check-In

Small corner of BLM land up the road from BLM campgrounds. Flat area but limited room for turning around. The ditch on the side of the road is steep but if you drive in at an angle it's fine. About 4 campsites in this section ideal for single vehicle. I have a small 2wd box van with a 5x8 trailer and had no issues getting in but I did struggle getting turned around. 4 bars of 4g lte on AT&T.

Report Check-In

quiet and peaceful. no Verizon service, but one bar of T-Mobile.
