Casona Campo Güemes | Established Campground

We arrived early in the afternoon, 3 cyclists with 2 small children.
The place is huge and was completely empty but we were told it was "occupado".
We had to find an alternative. Luckily we were invited to camp in the grounds of a primary schools sports centre.
Such a strange situation as the whole campground was empty. And it could probably take 200 tents at least.

Price 4000peso for all. Motor home and 2 people.

lukewarm water in the tap because the water heater is bad. and 170 volts in the electrical network. probably because the stadium next door turns on the lights. at 21:00 they are still playing football. but it is a beautiful old manor. she is 100 years old. If you wish, you can rent a room; there are double and triple rooms.

We called to ask for the price, he asked for 1700pesos per person (with a tent). It sounded like a too high price considering the highest we've payed in the area is 1500pp in Purmamarca which is very touristy. He didn't accept a lower price so we didn't stay

Nice campground with a very big space of grass. It was 800 argentin pesos for two people in a tent. Very calm, far away from the main road. There are tables and bathrooms.
