Description
We hiked the Paramo de Oceta with Maria as our guide. Her family has lived here for ages and she knows everything about the region, the plants, herbs and animals. Due to the political situation access to the park is not guaranteed (there are some issues with local farmers who want to use the area for cow farming, but the cows destroy the paramo), so Maria is striving to save guard this precious piece of nature and doing whatever is in her power to restore or protect the paramo. She asks 50.000 COP pp and the tour takes all day. We can highly recommend her! 313 4798492
