Stayed here one night. Some other campers were close by but all left in the evening. There are signs that said no camping. We were not bothered at all, no one cared about us. We moved on the next day though as there were a couple of comments also on the other spots close by that campers were asked to leave.

No nos quedamos, pues hay carteles por todos lados que está prohibido acampar e incluso pernoctar, con multas explícitas… así que nos fuimos a la playa de CHANA

the local authority advised us not to stay on the beach. Only on the parking site or along the road is okay.

Beautiful place, long long sunsets! Saw dolphins in the morning! We were reluctant (don’t camp signs) but around 9 or 10pm Lots of other people with motorhomes and roof tents appeared. Everyone stayed there without problem. Watch out with your 4x4 on the looose sand! We saw someone getting really, really stuck deep!!

As described, parking lot facing the beach work room for lots of cars / campers. Saw seals and dolphins very close to the shore. Toilet is basic but works. There’s a good truck up a bit with a very friendly owner offering local tips, food, wifi

Great spot, very peaceful but such a horrible night we slept in the car, didn't bother putting a tent up!

Sandy beach car park, undisturbed all night, great spot, looks like there’s further more secluded beaches for tents etc if you were to walk on north. Visited in 4x4 with tent box

Stayed 1 night here, on the parking lot, at the end of the beach. Take care with the soft sand, before choosing your spot. There was running water at the public bathroom. We saw a couple of sea lions and dolphins during the sunset. Dont leave any trash and check-in here if you visited this place, to help other travellers.

Dormimos uma noite aqui, no estacionento no final da praia. Tome cuidado com areia fofa antes de estacionar, para evitar atolamento. Tem torneira com água no banheiro público, um pouco antes do estacionamento. Vimos muitos golfinhos e leões marinhos durante o pôr do sol! Sempre leve seu lixo embora e deixe o lugar melhor do que encontrou. Se visitou esse lugar deixe uma avaliação aqui, para ajudar os proximos viajantes.

pasamos tres días en el estacionamiento. nunca sacamos sillas ni mesa ni nada. Pudimos estar super tranquilos. los domingos hay más gente pero si no bastante tranquilo. vimos muchas focas y la playa larga, a la derecha del estacionamiento mirando al mar, es preciosa. En el medio de la playa corta hay baños públicos y grifo de agua.

Beautiful spot as described. Lots of wildlife (dolphins and seals) and the black sand beach was amazing, including sunset and volcano. No issues overnight and a few other camper vans on both ends of the beach.

rangers came at 10pm, saying that camping was not allowed here. they said to the vans and campers to go to the gravel flat area at the end of the beach, not sure if it would be allowed for tents.

Be care in the actual carpark for the beach, it is thick, loose sand. It’s also black sand so we didn’t actually realise. Our van got stuck in it for a while but we got out by packing the sand down and using rocks to make a path. Unless you have a 4wd, avoid.

Lovely spot, plenty of space with grass/gravel/sand whatever you need! No running water today tho, apparently sometimes they turn it off.

Nice spot! Calm street, beautiful beach, picnic benches around. Also a Little River for some water filtering if needed.
Public Facilities were not running.

This is an awesome spot! A little exposed in our car in the parking lot at the far end but there’s hardly any traffic so it’s fine. There’s a public toilet and shower up the other end but wasn’t any running water at the time. Keep it clean and take any rubbish with you. Good phone reception. Also saw lots of sea lions swimming along!

Great beach location. Actual spots with tables for about 8 vehicles, but many more can be accommodated. Bathroom is essentially out of commission, no water. Lots of dogs, but they are nice.

Perfect overlander Spot! Beautiful beach, No garbage, very very quiet. Some friendly locals at daytime. saw sealions. Nice Sunset 😍 Public banos 100m away, dont know If they are Clean or not

beautiful spot to sleep with a van or a tent (you can camp on the beach). we were able to observe a dozen groups from Italy in the evening during the sunset. there are free showers and toilets available. the water is cold
