Very large parking area. Quiet and deserted. Wonderful view of Teton mountains.
Use Leeks Marina Road to get to the lake shore.

Came here after getting kicked out of the pullouts at the Yellowstone South Gate. No problems. Awesome view of the Teton Range to wake up to.
FWIW, NPS owns everything from the north gate of Yellowstone to the South Gate of Grand Teton, so boondocking in these spots is going to be hit or miss.
Report Check-Instayed 2 weeks ago with no issue but arrived today to find a truck/boat trailer with a boot and ticket notice from rangers. Ran into the truck owner as I was contemplating, and he said he just arrived this morning... so yeah I wouldn't stay at this location anymore. BTW there is a sign that says 3 nights max for boat trailers and he still got a boot on day 1
went down the road to the Colter bay and they had overflow sites for $25 + tax 🤷♂️
Almost waited around the here the truck owner curse out the ranger but decided to bail to find somewhere safe
Report Check-Inperfect spot for one night, we sleeped in the big parking lot instead of the smaller one with the restaurant for more quiet. a lot of people coming in and out for the view of the lake. the view and sunset was stunning !!
Report Check-InStayed here. Beautiful view but a park ranger stopped by around 7:30am to say overnight parking wasn’t allowed. There were multiple rigs parked here.
