Great camp spot! Sites on the loop were filled but we didn’t have trouble parking and sleeping along the gravel parking near the pit toilet and stream. Absolutely my favorite camp spot we have been to in our travels, especially when it was free and had roaring glacial stream nearby.
Report Check-Inthe road is clear now and the spot is open, the toilets are locked but it's clean enough and FREE.
Report Check-InThe road was closed about 2 km before the site for road construction so we weren’t able to get to the rec site. Some people were parking just before the construction & hiking in, but that won’t help if you’re trying to stay overnight. Don’t know how long the road will be closed for.
Report Check-InThis is a popular location even off season. The place is surrounded by mountain and tall trees. The campsites ate not an ideal place for solar panels or Starlink. A good clearing is only from the small parking lot.
Report Check-InCAMPING.. This is a BC recreational area. It has a large parking area and 6 or so small campsites with tables and fire rings.
There are a few pit toilets.
Camping is free.
It is most suited to tents and camper Van's.
We parked in the parking lot when it cleared with our 20 foot trailer and Ram truck, as we could not fit I to any of the camping spots.
The road here is paved, but does get narrow, making it difficult for two vehicles to pass each other.
Good for a night or two, if you dont have too be a rig.
Everything is open. Carpark and a few camping spots with tables Peaceful place to overnight Pit toilet
Report Check-InThe road opened up at about 6.00pm.
There is work being done to a tower mast.
Nice small site and the falls are great and easy to view.
Unfortunately road is closed. We stayed in front of the barriers, ok for a night
Report Check-InA few wooded sites and an overflow lot, with easy road access and a pile of firewood to share. Nothing amazing, but a very nice spot close to town
Report Check-Inawesome spot! everything important is said before, i am just checking in here because I really want to recommend it! btw the campsites weren't busy when we stayed, just a lot of day users.
Report Check-Inup a gravel road up a hill, open parking spot for day users, plus 4 squeezed in flat campsites with tables and firepits, and one pit toilet, Quite a nice spot, in the summer sleeping with windows open, it must be nice to sleep with the waterfalls roaring! no bugs in mid-September
Report Check-InTo see the twin falls is a fairly easy walk, bit steep - total of 2 km.
Some people was also rock climbing on the smaller of the falls wall.
Here is also the beginning of the Gulch glacier hike, a 4 hour hike.
Pretty popular spot, get there a bit early if you can, the hike to the falls is about 600m up hill and beautiful.
Report Check-InBeautiful rec site, not a lot of camping spots but room for big rigs and a bunch of little trucks and flat tent spots through the woods behind. The falls are beautiful and the forest of big trees is unexpected coming from the highway.
Report Check-InAt the Twins falls recreation area there is 4 free campsites with firepit, tables and dry bathroom!
plus the parking lot !
Nice place, but 2km of gravel road that can be slippery, be careful. Many mosquitoes :)
Nice short walk to do up to the falls in the morning!
Really nice spot with picnic tables, fire pits and a drop toilet. You can hear the waterfalls and it’s a easy 10 minute walk to them. The drive in is really pretty too. LOTS of bugs, so come prepared!
Report Check-InDefinitely a nice free site, with four level sites. Very busy for weekend in October couldn't imagine what it's like during summer. Toilet was clean and well stocked with TP.
Report Check-InNice spot. But just 4 so I can imagine that in summer time it could be full. We didn’t had any cellphone signal (Rogers and Telus).
Report Check-InWe were the only ones here and it was super quiet. Spots are right on top of each other though, so when busy I imagine it might not be quiet. It's also the trailhead parking lot so that could cause additional traffic and noise. close to town and our cell phones just barely had 1-2 bars of signal if we held them right. saw the toilet, but we didn't use it.
Report Check-Inbeautiful spots! next to dayparking for hikingtrails. pittoilet available.
Report Check-Incame here for a day hike up to the falls and make some lunch. it has 5 places you can use with fire rings and tables for camp sites. if I was staying another night I would stay here.
Report Check-In4 sites with fire pits. Mature forrest. Hike to the falls and Kathyn glacier.
