Peaceful campground, nicely spaced dry campsites, many with view of river and bridge. Well maintained, clean. Walking distance to grocery store. Lovely spot with community garden. Few powered spots blocked off for campground purposes.

Report Check-In

pulled in at 1030pm few campers here, was really glad there was space on long weekend. just here for a quick overnight. saw a fox so watch your dogs!!

Report Check-In

Nice little overnight stop. Great location in two ways, by a river and between Dawson City and Whitehorse. Free is a great benefit. AT&T and Verizon have full bars!

Report Check-In

Beautiful campground by the river and free. Felt safe also as the community safety patrolled a couple times in the evening.
Beautiful town garden at the end of the campground with sunflowers

Report Check-In

Free campground next to the river. No services. Hookup sites are for local workers. No TP in the bathrooms. Sites are level and have picnic tables. 20% full on a July Friday night.

Report Check-In

Great FREE campground along the Pelly River. The first 4 spots have electric and water hookups. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring. There’s good AT&T cell phone reception. And there is also a gas station (Selkirk Centre) with a well-stocked convenience store across the road.

Report Check-In

Nice free campground with a lot of sites for all sizes and flat. Seems every site has a table. Very quiet and full bars!

Report Check-In

Pellucid River Crossing Campground is a FREE campground and the first 4-5 campsites are full hook ups and yes, FREE!!!

We stopped for 1 night. Indeed a man came to ask us $25 telling us that he was the one who maintained the campsite, but as I had seen the old comments, we told him that everywhere on the sites it was indicated that it was free and that if this was not the case we would change places. He didn't insist and left. The first sites have all the connections available.

Update on my previous post about the price. Apparently there’s a scammer that if Chief of the Selkirk Nation has been trying to get ousted. Do not pay anybody to stay here. The campground is free to stay at.

Report Check-In

Pretty place right by the river but no free. It’s now $25 a night for zero hookups. But they need to make a living somehow.

Report Check-In

Pretty place by the river but it’s not free any longer. For zero hookups but they need to earn an income somehow.

Report Check-In

Pretty spot right by the river but it is not free. $25 a night now for zero hook ups. But they need to earn income somehow.

Report Check-In

Free campground on the river. We are in a self-contained 24 ft. class c, We didn't need to use the pit toilets, so no info on those. There's a sign at the entrance saying no fires due to a burn ban. Spent quiet night. We did have a man approach us and try to collect $25. He attempted to make us believe he worked here. When we told him we thought it was free and would move on, he said, "That's okay, I won't charge you." and he walked away.

Nice spot with firewood . 25 dollars now

Report Check-In

Not bad at all! I expected worse. Womens pit toilet seemed ok bring toilet paper with you. Mens toilet disgusting. Our site is pretty good with large level area. Free firewood.

Report Check-In

This has the potential to be a very nice spot. Unfortunately it seems no one is looking after the campground at the current time. Pit toilets are unusable extremely dirty. No fires allowed at this time. Good cell service. Still a decent place to stop for the night. Cost is free

Report Check-In

We stayed here last night. It was almost full when we got here at 10pm. The dogs in the neighborhood next to here barked all night long. The bugs weren't too bad last night in this morning. I have full T-Mobile service here. I did not use the toilets, but they are scattered around the campground. There was a sign when we first came in that said there was a fire. Ban. If you can burn here, when you come, there is free firewood. It is pretty quiet this morning.

Report Check-In

Fairly quiet, free campground on the Yukon River in view of the bridge. Good midway stop between Dawson City and Whitehorse.
Free firewood stacked around the campground.

Report Check-In

Campsite is open and FREE. Multiple people staying there. Gives the appearance of an old government campsite that no one decided to upkeep anymore.

Report Check-In

it's open again. would be a nice place, but doesn't like like anybody is taking care. but it's free and a good place to stay along Klondike Hwy with cell service

Report Check-In

Still free. NO one here to take care of the place. Very nice for a free night. The police did patrol once. Very safe.

Report Check-In

Unfortunately the campground is still closed as off today..

Report Check-In

CLOSED!!!!! probably because of Covid-19...😕

Report Check-In

Nice free campground just on the river in Pelly Crossing. Electricity plugs were not working. There is a bbq and a table in each spot so should be perfect for summer :) We were the only ones staying there that night so really quiet. Great spot

Report Check-In

This is a great place to stop. We are in a poptop vehicle and the place is beautiful, right next to the river and it is free. There are fire pits and free wood too.

Not noisy when we were there, some dogs barking and the odd heavy truck.

Report Check-In

great spot for one night (or more)! wood is still available. there were some dogs barking, but at night of was ok! Toilets available. And still control (once) From the RCPM.

Last review is accurate. We are here in our 43 foot with toad no problems driving around . We got riverview parking on a Wednesday.
There were some folks blasting their karaoke machine and then a drone then more music so I turned up mine. They stopped lol.
Beautiful setting 4bars and lte verizon .

Now that is a nice community campground. Try to buy something to thank them.

Wood, fire rings, tables, pit toilets (not the cleanest, bring toilet paper) and a couple shelters provided.

Free camping. Along the river. Quiet.

Report Check-In

Big nice Places and good Firewood for free. Today the smoke from a forestfire comes over the River. It is stinking so much.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Nice organise camping free. On the river nice sun set ... if you stay awake late!

Report Check-In

the place is enormous. as said, couple of powered sites at the beginning but marked as reserved. water taps over there too, water is potable it seems.
very nice, even though it looks a bit run down.
it's for free and there's firewood... I can't ask for anything more :)

Report Check-In

Sweet spot by the river with plenty of lots! Apparently, it's free! Yay! I like that all lots have a picnic table and a fire pit...

Report Check-In

Nice campground, no services except for a couple of outhouses. Good river views from a few of the sites. Not crowded at all, just 3 campers with room for probably 40.

Report Check-In

Nice overnight spot on the river across from gas station and store. Not too secluded and very safe.

Report Check-In

Quiet. Only one night. Gas station and food near. No service. Near the river. Wood for fire.
