Public Boat Launch | Informal Campsite

forget the boat dock part, it's not usable on a good day. the little park on the river has turned into a dopper hang out over the last few years.
BUT ! out front in the Olies/Kroger plaza you can get off the interstate and grab you 8 hours on the lot. it gets a lot of truck parking overnight. Fairly quiet, no hasles, safe. I use it once or twice a month when I finish late and have an early start in the area. I just stretch out in the back floor of an all glass Transit 150 with some light beading andin plain view. Never a problem, no gaulkers, cop's are friendly enough. McD in the morning, they never bat an eye when I use the bathroom and clean up in the morning. There wifi is ok at best, but you have to park right at outside there lot about mid building. Wendy's is way better wifi. the space right of the handicap space is the sweet spot. Motels password is " guest " ! folks real original around these parts :)
if you are going west go on down the road for fuel and food. if you are going east there is as good as the next 50 miles depending on which way you are heading.

Happy camping all, hope to be out there myself sooner than later, so I figured I'd ought to start giving a little before I start taking :)
