Colombia
Nice place beside the street a little outside Mocoa, just above the Mocoa River. The owners are really nice and they would love to have other overlanders. You can park on the parking lot in front of the house or drive up to a grassy area for camping. There is a firepit for cooking, an outdoor shower and toilets you can use. Indoors showers and wc. They also have running water (potable) and electricity if you need them. Slow wifi.

Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
We tried to contact the owner in advance (phone number in the description) but he didn't respond. We are not sure if this place is still open so we went to Dantayaco as well and had a great time there.
Report Check-InWe didn’t stay here but I just wanted to suggest that you send a message in whatsapp before you do. We arrived here near dark after a long drive from San Agustin (over 7 hours due to all the stoppages for construction on the roads) there was no one around. We went back about 200m and had a good night at Dantayaco Ecotourism.
Report Check-In!
Nice guy and place. Shower, toilets, roof for the tents, tables... Everything you could need.
Asked 30k /tent.
Amazing spot to stay before or after the trampoline road. David was a great host! The cold showers were so refreshing. Not to mention the squirrel monkeys that came in the afternoon! His internet didn’t work while we were there but he was expecting to receive starlink any day! Highly recommend this place!
Report Check-InStayed one night in our Truck. place is nice but nothing special. No WiFi available and too much noise from the street. Wanted 40k, paid 30k after negotiation
Report Check-InStayed one night for 40k for campervan and 2 adults. Nice garden above the road, noise during the day, no problem at night. Just after our arrival a big group of of 20 to 30 squirrel monkeys came to garden right next to our campervan.
Report Check-InI had a great time here, because both owners and the lovely Marta were really friendly and helpful….
Report Check-InWe spent one night here, parked on top of the hill to not be right next the road. Still you can hear the cars but it’s calmer at night. The camping area is very pretty and well maintained. Clean bathroom and showers. Very friendly staff.
There is also a washing machine that I guess can be used but we didn’t ask.
Wifi was working very well and a there was a faint 4G claro reception.
We stayed here for 1 night and were all alone. The surrounding nature is absolutely stunning and the site offers clean toilet and (cold) shower facilities. The hosts said WiFi was not available and we couldn’t get any phone signal, but it was fine for us one night.
Report Check-InStayed one night on way to border. Could easily fit the Gladiator up the hill in the gravel parking lot. Nice covered patio with hammock. Clean, large bathrooms (no toilet paper) and several individual shower rooms with cold showers. The Rottweiler was super sweet and kept to himself. Bugs weren’t too bad at night; we left early in the morning. WiFi was not good during our stay and didn’t work half the time. Absolute best part was the troop of monkeys that went through the trees several times. We saw them super up close.
Report Check-InWe stayed here one night on our way to the Ecuador crossing at San Miguel. The area up the hill has a nice covered area. Flat parking. There are restrooms but didn’t use them. A large male Rottweiler on site but no problems with Dixie.
We left this place at 8am and were at the San Miguel crossing by 1:30pm after stopping for gas and a quick lunch.
Bugs were pretty bad here, esp in the morning.
Report Check-InReally nice Place, the best to Start the Road to San Francisco. We Diego is really helpful and open minded. The sanitarios are clean and work well. If you camp by tent you can hear the traffic during the night, but it is not bad.
Report Check-InWe really enjoyed this campground! We checked all the options on this road and this was the best. Diego is the new owner and has revamped it in the last few months. Lots of space, shade, picnic tables overlooking the river. Sebastian the 13 yr old that helps out showed us how to get to the beautiful, clear river sandy beach (where the bridge is 1 minute down the road). Big bathrooms & cold showers. The top is a little further back from the road, so it’s not too noisy. 30,000 per vehicle.
Report Check-InIt is as nice as discribed. very clean friendly Te host Diego and good restaurant, we had excellent fish.
Report Check-InNice place. The new owner, Diego, is very friendly and helpful! He try to remake a good place here. The bathroom and shower are clean, wifi work and there are super nice wood cabanas. 5min walk to a nice and fresh rio. paid 30k 4p+ motorhome
Report Check-Inthis place has seen better days...
the restaurant is closed and a concrete telephone pole has fallen across the road up to the giant camping area which is now overgrown and doesn't appear to be used anymore as the pools are half empty and full of algae and there is no longer wifi and no claro here. still 25k a night though, so that's cool I guess, but honestly not sure what I'm paying for. without being able to go up to the camping area you are just in a parking lot maybe 40 meters from the road, which is pretty busy.
Report Check-Insuper lindo y tranquilo lugar!
baño de agua fría, buena internet, baños super limpios! 25.000 2 personas y coche
nosotros recomendamos
super nice and quiet place!
cold water bath, good internet, super clean bathrooms! 25.000 2 person and car!
we recommend
Really nice place and friendly owners. Electricity 110 V. has a roof, so you can sit there, when it rains. And it is in the rain forest! There is a lot of wood to burn.
Report Check-InPerfect place, they built a new beautiful amenity block with 4 separate showers (cold) and toilet areas.
All clean. still 25000 p/n 2 pers plus camper.
The hostess was so lovely and sweet! Shower was cold and basic but clean. We filled up our water jugs and charged the van. Also the WiFi worked well for us even in the rain! Our dog had a nice time with the animals and dog as well. Great stop, only $20kCOP
Report Check-InSuper friendly personnel, very clean everything. Is really a nice place and a great option in this area.
Report Check-InOk for one night. The staff weren't friendly. Very basic shower. don't have dishwasher . Wifi work bad at with rain. We don't like so much. $24000 COP for our van and us.
Report Check-InNice campground, almost like in the jungle. Basic flush toilets next to the camping, nicer toilet and shower close to the reception building. Restaurant was closed when we arrived, but get an delicious fruit juice.
Report Check-InIf you travel in a big rig, you‘re probably not able to enter the camping aerea. Therefore you have to park between the street and the front yard of Martins house (but inside the fenced area). Traffic slows down in the evening, but there is no privacy. Pro: you will catch the WiFi signal into your car (internet was pretty fast) and you have the bathroom next to you. We spend a second night on our way back from San Agustin. Money is always an issue. Martin asked for 25.000 Pesos, we negociated down to 20.000 Pesos.
Report Check-Innice place, a little bit noisy when you stay at the entrance ( like when it's raining)
good cold shower
paid 15.000 for a car and two people

We were the only guests in our first night there and everything seemed like they were renovating or tidying up the place. There were logs and leaves lying around, some poles for tents were broken and the natural pool was empty. Yet, the hosts greeted us really friendly, prepared a place for our tent and filled the pool which took about 4h.
Facilities were clean, tap water barely drinkable (didn't taste good) and we could prepare our meals on a wood stove. Fin del Mundo and the C.E.A. are both just a few minutes' walk away.
On arrival we were told that each night would be 10k, but when we left we had to pay 15k per night. For a family size pizza we were charged 40k which is far too much. We recommend to pay everything in advance!
Report Check-InVery Nice place. Unfourtunally we couldn't Park and camp in the camping area because it didn't feel flat and hard enought for our van. But we Park in front of the house and it was ok. We like the Vibe and the idea of the place. They have two dogs but they are friendly and like to play with each other. Our doggie was welcome too.
Report Check-InAsk befor you camp here by the price. The first guy say's: one truck, two person for 15000. The second guy means: 30000. The Pizza price was now, 8000 for normal and 24000 for a family size.

Report Check-InOn our way to Ecuador, very nice place with a natural pool. We had a very good pizza on oven wood for 6'000cop.
1km south (walkable), you'll find the CEA where you can visit the Amazonica wild life refugees for injured animals.
Now 15000cop for the night.
Report Check-Ingreat place to stay to break up your trip. very quiet and relaxing. great for camping all as mentioned before.
Report Check-InSuch a lovely campground for 10,000 (2 people, 2 bikes, 1 tent) - the tent platforms are great, keeping you up off the ground and the tarp means you don't need a flysheet. The natural pool is great and toilets / shower down by the house are completely spotless. Mario even built us a campfire for the evening too.
Cannot recommend enough! We also met other overlanders there too so was great to swap stories for the night.
Recommended. Owners are above and beyond in everything from making campfires to sharing information.
Report Check-InNice owners. We camped up the hill from the house. A little buggy but nice. Clean restroom down by house. Current cost: 10mil for car + 5mil electric. Good overnight before trampoline Del muerte
Report Check-InFantastic! 12000 for one car + 2pp. Very, very friendly owners, clean toilet & shower, a great rainbow shower and natural swmming pool. We got two pescados (3000 cop each) from the little lake and they cooked with us in their outdoor oven - enjoy! Their family started a reforestation project, you can help and buy a tree for 6000 cop, they'll send you pictures via email from "the grow up of your tree" ;-)!
Report Check-InVery nice overlanding place, clean toilet and shower, fire oven and nice natural pool.
The owner Mario is very sweet and will go out of his way to ensure you have a great stay.
Ensure you agree on price before you stay, since we learnt when leaving that electricity and toilet paper are paid extra. However this doesn't seem to be always the case, and it was still worth the stay.
Report Check-InLovely quiet campsite. Clean toilet, clean cold shower. Road noise pretty much drowned out by the sound of the river.
Friendly, helpful hosts. Cost 10,000 COP for our tent and 2 people and 2 bicycles.
No restaurant but one only a 10 min walk away. Hosts sell soft drinks and beer and will probably give you hot water if you want. Firewood available.
Report Check-InThis place is awesome! From the road there is just a sign that says parquadero and indeed you can just park down by the house and the loan road. Not sure why you would do this though, there is a path that goes up to a nice grassy camping area! There is an outdoor shower, electricity, and an awesome natural pool. The pics don't do the pool justice. It's make of stones and sand. And it's about 5 feet deep, and the water is crystal clear. It's fun to play in. He has great tent platforms as well, also with soft sand. There is power from the palapa, and also water available. We paid 10,000 pesos total to camp, but he is raising it to 12,000 per truck and honestly he deserves to! He is a nice guy too, with two quirky pet goats, cats, and a dog (who he keeps in the house area below). Good place for dogs in the camping area.
Report Check-InExcellent place, it is more than a parking place, bird and butterfly watching, natural swimming pool, we use camping tents and we pay 10,000 Colombian pesos per person, there is electricity, the only thing missing is hot water.
Report Check-InA very natural place, very easy to reach, with natural pool, place for barbecue, electric energy, 700 meters of nature, we received some howler monkeys
Report Check-InAwesome spot. It has been a haven for us. surrounded by nature. I think the guys below describing a carpark must have stayed in the carpark next to the road. Definitely head up to the camping area. The river drowns out any road noise. Awesome woodfire stove and oven. Rainforest pool and shower. Electricity in the under cover area. He is constantly making new additions. Super friendly and very reasonable price. 10,000 per car.
We stayed an extra night and never left the property.
This is more than a parking. Its a real camping when you go to the upper places. We paid 10k for the camper p/n with 2 persons. Verry frendly.
Report Check-InExcelent camping whit natural pool, showers, wc, area cooking, two river Mocoa and pepino, a lot of space for camp, big rv friendly, good owenrs, and more. Near to trekking for "whater fall end of the word", and "Mariposario" ecologic reserv and "Experimental amazonic center" animal recaveri center.
Report Check-InThe parking in front of the house is a normal parquadero with baño and shower, close to the street, but if you drive on the right side up you park in the gras, the build a pool with water from a nearby spring and a outdorshower with bambo.
Report Check-InA precison: with a big RV, you can't go to the grassy area. We parked in front of the house, on the parking lot. Ok for one night.
Report Check-InThe place advertises as "Parqueadero" and that's exactly what it is. And it's right beside the busy road (sealed) like all the other places in the vicinity. Nothing romantic about that, especially when there are 30+ fuel trucks at 5:30 am.
Report Check-InThis is more of a proper camping spot than a parking place. Big grassy field, pit toilet and flush toilet. Shower (didn't use but I imagine it's cold), fire pit and plenty of wood. Sink area for doing dishes. 10,000 per vehicle per night.
Report Check-InReally nice place and friendly owners. Electricity 110 V. Paid 10k.
Fireplace has a roof, so you can sit there, when it rains. And it is in the rain forest! There is a lot of wood to burn.
Nice place beside the street a little outside Mocoa, just above the mocoariver. The owners are really nice and they would love to have other overlanders. You can park on the parkinglot in front of the house or drive up to a grassy area for camping. There is a firepit for cooking, an outdoorshower and toilets you can use. They also have running water (not sure if potable) and electricity if you need. There ican be some streetnoise. They agreed with 10'000Pesos for one car.
