Yet another spot on BLM land. Nice and flat. (There is another one a bit closer to the paved road but not as flat.) Rutted dirt road. High clearance required and 4WD recommended. Very good AT&T and Verizon signal (Visible wouldn't work for some reason)
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great spot for disperse camping - BLM land with some nicely maintained pit toilets. We spent the night Sunday night and had the place to ourselves. No tree cover, just sage brush and junipers.
Take the road to the day use area, then turn left in the day use parking lot onto a dirt road that will take you to some camping areas.
