Very nicely situated campground. Each site has plenty of space. Picnic tables, fire pits. Five minutes walk to beach. beautiful rock formations. Lovely setting sun over ocean. $35/night ($2 discount for 62 years old or older).
AT&T signal only by the cliff edge by the campground. T-Mobile 5g Gateway wifi product worked great on the top of my car! (it does, I believe, have a booster built into it.)
Pit toilets, no water or power, but a gorgeous spot in any weather.
Walk in (or drive in), grab an empty spot, note the site number, then walk to the pay station (don't forget a pen or pencil) use cash or a check to pay for it), then place the slip on your dashboard.
No pre-bookings online or otherwise, but I have been here in April, August and now in mid-October, it's never been full.
This is my stop station for every time I drive up or down the coast. Love it!
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
7-10 Mbps verizon service at north end of campground that dissipates to zero signal at south end.
Pretty campground right on the bluff with flat parking. $35 is steep for just pit toilets (pleasant, clean and well stocked), picnic table and fire ring. No shade or privacy from other campsites.
Report Check-InBeautiful campsite. Can hear the ocean and see the stars. No amenities but Starlink internet is blazing fast.
Report Check-InWow. Just wow. We traveled across the country and this place was the most memorable campsite so far. Right on the cliffs by the ocean. 35 a night. Bring cash or a check. Looks to be first come, first serve.
There is a dump toilet that you can use to empty a cassette toilet but no water or sewer otherwise.
Can’t recommend this one enough. It’s a fav.
