Description
We stayed two nights at René and Anna’s place while our car was in the garage of René his dad. They just finished a guest house and it is really beautiful. For 25$ a night you get a hot shower, a GREAT breakfast (with real bread!), a good night's sleep, a safe parking spot, free laundry and a beautiful garden. They are very lovely and speak German, English and Spanish. You can also park your van safely behind their gate. It is best to contact them before arrival. Anna’s number is: +593 981930528

We enjoyed two nights here as a bit of a pre-Tembr rest. We didn’t meet Anna and René as they had a family emergency, but René’s mum Genny helped us check in and made sure we had everything we needed, and Anna was easy to contact throughout. Her English is perfect.
We brought the bikes inside the spacious room but there are quite a few security cameras on the property if you wanted to leave them in the big garden (not visible from the road). Was really nice to be able to let ourselves in and out with ease.
Sparkling clean, comfy bed, warm shower, TV with Netflix etc, good wifi.
No breakfast for us (not a problem, just different to what’s listed below). Was no problem to do some laundry, which I think made it a good-value stay. $50 for two nights (2 people).
Looks like they’re building a kitchen area too, which would be great. We used our little campstove in the garden - there’s a small table and two chairs in the room. Supermarket is a 30 second walk away.
Report Check-InJust wanted to add if your vehicle is wider than a promaster, it might be difficult to get through the gate. Height is no issue but width could be an issue. Message Anna before arriving.
Report Check-InWhat a great family, we stayed here after the border and it was a great time. Anna and Rene have 2 kids and our kids played with the older one. Safe parking, good WiFi, toilet, shower nice back yard for kids and dog to run around. We had a great time meeting them and chatting with them. We paid $20 to stay in our van, they have a beautiful room for rent for $30.
