Description

Stayed just outside the park in a decently flat lot. Was suggested to come here from a local lady in Shelburne. Came here in the off season and had no issue staying outside the gates. You can go walk in the park and it’s beautiful. Was here on a Saturday so there were a few people driving around in the evening but overall very quiet night. Locals use this place to walk around during the day and Kayak. No amenities as everything is closed but it’s a safe spot to stay when traveling in off season!

Dump station with potable water available before the gage for $6.55 for non camper and free for campers. Shower is free at the comfort station when you turn to the picnic area. I asked if there's fee for the shower and the staff said no. the shower room is huge and very clean, the best and cleanest shower I've seen at provincial park. I think camping is $27 for non service. Mosquitoes are so bad here in the summer, I'm not staying, just use the dump station and shower. Also, there's no other method of payment accept cash, and put it in the envelope and drop it in the box. There's no till at the office, so the staff can't give you change, make sure to bring cash and change if you're coming here for any services.
