Water spigots were locked. The camp hose unlocked for us to fill water bottles. We had intended to fill our camper tank but our hose was too short.

Stayed here on Nov 11, free camping for Veterans Day. The camp host was very friendly. A truck parked next to me late at night and kept opening and closing their doors until 6am…otherwise very peaceful place with some nice trails!

Really nice and cute campground. Good access to creek, can only see it in 1 site but the campground is small. 9/10

Report Check-In

Absolutley beautiful. Sites clean and well maintained. Peaceful. Friendly on-site camp host keeping things running smoothly.

A really cool DNR campground. Free if you have your $30 Discover Pass. (Purchase at many state parks). A small campground, but really neat and clean. Found one spot with enough Verizon signal to do a Google search and make a FB post. Not reliable coverage.
I would stay, again.

Great little DNR campground. Free if you have a Discover pass (and you should if traveling thru WA). Quiet and clean, right on the river. Easy and beautiful hike to the shore.

Got here around 7pm saturday night during a storm and there was just one spot available. Beautiful campground by the river. Had my discovery pass displayed but not sure if anyone stopped by to check.

Site #5, lots of traffic going by all day long. Been here 5 days, We are next to the camp host who chain smokes all day so breathing in 2nd hand smoke is extremely irritating while trying to enjoy FRESH air. Other than that, this is a great little campground. Be sure to hike the strait of Juan de Fucha trail! The sites as other have said are perfect for tents and vans ~ the actual sites are plenty of space ~ picnic table, fire ring (fire ban so no fires sadly), pit toilets that are kept up and good water. Will definitely come Back, but not next to the smoker!

We enjoyed our time at Lyre River Campground, it is a free campground with discover pass, well worth it to get the discover pass. Very busy during peak season, took us a couple times to get in.

Great little campground in the woods, and most sites have a view of the river. There is potable water here with a hose bib so you can hook up and fill up your water tank.

Report Check-In

Great spot by the river. A little out of the way.

nice little campground by the river. free with discovery pass.

Report Check-In

Rainy day arrival yet only 2 sites available, luckily I fit into one of them.

Beautiful rainforest campground; but narrow roads, small sites, seemingly intended for tent and/or small van camping, very tight otherwise.

Un coup de cœur, direct sur la rivière, on dirait vraiment qu'elle parle cette eau. On se fait un feu et on relaxe. 10$US, achat par internet du DiscoverPass.

Report Check-In

nice quiet place direct at the river. there are 3 sites where we would have for with our 34ft motorhome.
there is a city water tap top fill up water tanks, but no dump station.
free with discover pass.
unfortunately deep inside the forest with almost no sun. not enough for our solar, so we left after 1 day.

Report Check-In

Ranger checked for a pass within 30 mins of parking on a Friday evening. Great spot by the water and close to apt Angles and the park.

Enough signal to stream the audio for my teams game but not enough to do much else. Wouldn’t come with a bigger rig than my off-road trailer, thankfully I was able to get a site I could fit perfectly backed in...not many others like that there (site 11).

A great place! Not for free, you need the Discovery Pass (State Pass: 10$ daily or 30$ per anno). When you are lucky nobody will check.....

Report Check-In

Very pleasant place to stay, right by a rushing river. Around 8 spots, only 1 other was occupied and no one checked for Discovery Pass (no fee otherwise). Pit toilets were open and decently clean, water spigots were off I assume for the winter.

Report Check-In

Beautiful campground, free of charge. Only 8 spots and a little tight so no big rigs but perfect for vans or trucks
