Nice little wild camping spot with a lookout over Tropic, just east of Bryce Canyon about 15m. Small fire ring, strong Verizon LTE. Two parking spots next to each other, a third about 60ft away, would be a good spot for a small group.
Unmarked turn off from Merrill Bench Rd, satellite view on Google maps shows spot well.

Nice spot downhill from Bryce Canyon NP! Road was decent, but fairly rutted - if you're following the Google maps directions, when you're at the base of the hill and it says to fork right, you can also fork left and get to the same place. In my case the left road was much better. If it rained I bet the road would get pretty gnarly.

Report Check-InStayed just the one night after arriving in the dark on this very secluded spot off a winding dirt road. Parked where we could see an overlook a little valley and watched the sunrise. Sunset would be nice here too. Came back to post more pics during daylight.
Report Check-InLong dirt road with a marker to turn right at that marks the little dirt road where this spot is located. Small area. Enough 2-3 vehicles. Great view of the stars! We found it in the middle of the dark. Very very secluded!!!!! 2 bars AT&T service on iPhone. 4 bars on husband android.
