Arrived 11/04/22. Stayed here for 1 night. Campground is located in Lake Pleasant Rec Area. Reservation can be made online. Check in is 1pm and check out is 12pm.
We paid a total of $37 this includes:
$7 entrance fee, $22 for a developed site (132), and a online Service fee of $8.
We stayed at site 132 and it was perfectly level for our Ford E250. Access to Lake Pleasant was not available from our site. But the campground is just a quick drive to Boat Launch area.
Entrance to Campground is secured by gate w/ code. Paved road in and Gravel lot for tents if needed, covered picnic table and fire pit. There is no electricity hookup at this site. Restrooms were fairly close, just a quick walk from site. Expensive for 1 night but it was well worth it. 8 out of 10. would definitely visit again in the summer.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Great place! Entered park paying $7 fee, then realized we wanted to stay. So returned to entrance gate and checked campground availability. We got a non-hookup site for $15. She charged $7 again for the day pass, then refunded initial. Nice to skip the online fees by just showing up, lots of sites here. $22 total for a night and amazingly blue and clear lake in the middle of the desert! Oh ya, look out for donkeys in the road!
Report Check-InWe stayed here for 2 days. One of the most beautiful campgrounds that we've been to. Immaculately taken care of; each site is combed over from one camper to the next. Clean bathrooms, dump station available, and water spigot by the boat ramp.
Report Check-InNice campground at Pleasant Lake, no hook ups, bathrooms and hot showers available at campground also sani dump in campground cell service wasn’t that great but it did work for Att
Report Check-InRolled in here and got a site without a reservation. Flat sites with fire rings, concrete tables and shade canopies.
Report Check-InWe really enjoyed this spot. Just showed up and got a site on a Friday night at $22 (no online fee and we weren't charged for a day pass when we arrived at 4pm). Many of the sites have direct access to the lake. If you're set a bit further back like us just follow the road to the turnaround at the end and there is a spot to swim/launch kayaks between the campsites. Nice birdlife and saw a burro wander through. Dump station is on the way out, it's not in the campsite and I didn't see anything saying it was for campers only.
