Stayed here one night after crossing the border. Safe and spacious. I think we paid 300p (?) then made our way south

big, Sandy's lot, only a few RVs there so we got to park right in front of beach. Basic toilets and cold shower available. cheaper at 300 pesos. 5 min walk to town. Quiet, no atvs the two nights we were there.

Basically just a place to park for the night. Big sandy lot with tons of camp spots. No services at all other than an outhouse which appeared to be functional, but very rough. I pulled in around sunset and the place was pretty empty, with just a couple other campers and a few locals barbecuing at the palapa. The attendant asked 400 for dry camping and I offered 300 based on the other reviews. He accepted 300. There was a bit of noise early with ATVs buzzing around and some music, but all was quiet by 8:00 pm. Not bad if all you are looking for is a place to stay for the night or maybe a bit longer if you want to see San Felipe.

I recently stayed at the campsite for almost three weeks. I was only intending to stay a day or two, to have some repairs done to my R.V., but absolutely fell 'head over heels' in love with this campsite and with San Felipe. It is an unbelievably good deal, far, FAR better than anything else on the beach, where they typically charge $50 - $80 usd for exactly the same experience.

I stayed right off the beach with an unobstructed view of the Sea of Cortez for just $300 pesos / nt. and when I extended my stay the rate fell to $90 u.s.d. / wk. The bathrooms looked a bit 'doggy' although I never used them as I have a class a motorhome but the beach is amazing, there is unlimited fresh, potable water, a dump station and, of course garbage disposal.

The hosts are incredibly nice and very accomodating. Malena speaks English which was very helpful. A 5 - 10 minute walk down the beach is the malecon where you will find a wide selection of bars, restaurants and gift shops. The meals I had were excellent and very inexpensive. I am not much of a shopper but could not resist the amazing bargains at the many gift shops. Beautiful, full length dresses for about $15, great looking jackets for my sons for about $12. Unbelievable value.

I normally travel all the way down to La Paz every winter and was willing to endure the 20+ hour drive and the horrible and very dangerous highways but no more, not a chance. From now on I will be spending my winters in San Felipe at Malena & Leao's Camp. It almost feels like a second home to me now and I cannot wait to return! : )

We were there on the 31st of dec 2023. Paid 300 pesos. That was too much, but we did’n check around before. Pecos’s place 5 min south is a better place for less and the same accommodations. For more you get full hook up.People are nice but that not justified the price. Every owner, in general, is nice.
Lost of noise. Every now and then a big deflagration, like coming from a cannon, maybe to scare the pigeons, I dont know. But that’s all day long even during the night. So bring your ear plug if you decide to stay anyway.

Stayed two nights at $15 US per night. One 5th wheel there too. As mentioned no amenities host is quite nice. Basically in town on the water. Had a god stay with no issues would stay again.

So Malena is an Angel and she invited us to eat with them on two different occasions just on a couple days.
And it’s not really a dry camp because there is water. You can even take a cold shower.
But… even if the collide the gate at night on street side, beach side is open access. Wich means check your stuff. I’ve just got my bike and bike rack (they where locked together) stolen last night. Ay muchos cabrones por aqui.

Without much effort, speaking Spanish, I had 2 spots for me and my friend for 200 pesos each per night or 10 USD. Pretty good ! And we can ask the neighbouring campground for shower for 10 or 15 pesos.

currently have the entire campground to ourselves. beach front, no services except a large palapa. Malena is very accommodating.

Nice fellow here rebuilding the campground. Charged us 500 pesos ($25) to stay the night. No services available but we’re fine with that. There is nobody else here. Restaurant across the street. Open beach access. Okay for one night.

Right downtown San Felipe on the beach. absolutely no services however the least expensive place you will find in town. if you just need a place to dry camp for the night it's perfect. Leo is very nice and accommodating.
