I bet this place didn't look as good in the old days! Beautifully restored verandahed wooden homestead with lots of big windows - just as well as you can only look through them! However you can get a good view of the interior which has been equally well restored with period artifacts. Quite interesting and in a stunning spot re scenery. Also 2 unrestored sheds and a double loo (locked due to corona virus - no doubt that accounts for the lack of dusting
too!!). Huge L shaped car park and some willows to shelter behind whilst we made a coffee. Very quiet road and slow going in our 2WD but worth it for the views.
Stayed on a very windy night at the parking lot with our rooftop tent. We could shelter quite well behind the trees. It is not allowed normally, but the police at the boarder didn't let us pass with a SalvaConducto for the next day, so send us to this place to spend the next.
Report Check-InGood place to shelter if you have crossed the border late and there is crazy wind. we passed the night here on the parking
