This is an option if you are looking for a safe place to camp. It belongs to the police so secure, nice shaded areas with bbqs, tables etc… we paid ARS1500 for 2 people in a tent. They opened a cabaña for us to use the bathroom/shower. Can get busy on weekends with kids playing football etc but the place is big enough for it to not be an issue. For a motorhome, you pay 1500 pesos and 500 pesos entrance per person.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
When we arrived here on a Thursday afternoon nobody else was camping, a few people playing tennis at the court until 10-11pm. It looked like things are going to calm down.
After 11 pm this cars started appearing and people gathered at a small building on the property to dance and party on loud music. This lasted until 3 am.
After this all the dogs in the city barked for hours. Needless to say that we did not have a good night in our roof top tent.
We paid $8000 ARS (8 USD) for the privilege (2 people, one vehicle). Poor facilities, water at the tap has impurities, wouldn't recommend drinking it.
Very expensive. They wanted to charge us 5,000 pesos for the mobile booth, and an extra per person.
Report Check-InReally great place, we highly recommended it. We paid 1500 pesos for the motorhome and 500 pesos per person. I think because it's low season, the person that works here opened a house, so we could have hot shower. Also we could use the tap from the neighbor to take potable water for our motorhome. We would for sure come back to this camping :)
Report Check-InLarge campground owned by the local police. Tented under a cabana. Showers are cold. Large swi.ming pool which is pristine, and no one was using it the two days I was here. A shame. Small tienda that opens around 4pm....beer, snacks, pizza and empanadas. There is another larger tienda with more to offer within walking distance....at the top of the entrance. Dog friendly....dogs here are great. Electricity on the poles by the lanes....left my stuff charging for several hours...no problem. Great spot out of the noise to chill for a night or two.
Report Check-InThis place was indeed very busy on a Saturday afternoon with mobs of children in the swimming pool. We did not like the fact that we would have had to park on the campsite road. We did not stay. 2000 pesos per person (and apparently that was a discount rate for seniors) and 2000 pesos for the van. It did not seem that this place was really set up for campers.
