Closed shelter with wifi. No water. Looks brand new, still very clean and with all windows. The door was open when we were there.

Word of warning: this is a brilliant clean shelter with WiFi but it was super busy when we were there. There were 13 people crammed in to stay the night - 11 like sardines inside the building and 2 outside in a tent.
Report Check-InThe best shelter I have seen coming from the north. Lots of benches, you can even sleep on the one in the middle. Nice large windows with stunning views to the west. Don't leave your garbage here, there are bins 50 meters away towards El Calafate. Only downside of the place: many cars stopping until midnight and as soon as 7am, to use the Wi-Fi

Report Check-InGreat place, we stayed with a van and a tent inside the shelter to hide from the wind. Perfect wifi, no power when we were there. If anyone is able to fix the door handle please do!
Report Check-InIncredible place, protected from the wind, Wi-Fi, easy to get water as a lot of cars pass here and some of them stop to get Wi-Fi. A guy entered in the shelter at night to protect from the wind, so it’s not a very quiet place. But it’s perfect! The lights started working badly at night, it might have a sensor, because while was day, no energy. For clyckists is incredible.

Report Check-InSuper nice spot, fast wifi (if you’re heading north make the most of it before El Chaltén!), working lights, spotless. The lights come on automatically when it gets dark, to turn them off switch off the red switch on the fuse box to the left of the door. There’s a broom in the corner and a bin outside by the junction so easy to keep the place clean!

No water!
Brand new, clean closed shelter. Power can be switch to switch off the light. There are even usb ports and wifi!!!
The door was open when we were there, but we heard reports it may have been closed before. Can be an ok wind shelter if closed.
