Something not right?

Description

I think this used to be an established trailhead. Now it’s just a little dirt parking area. Absolutely nothing out here, can’t hear the highway. One car came in and parked down a dirt road for 30 minutes and left.

Otherwise it’s peaceful. No wind protection, no amenities. Pack in pack out! Good for a night.

Latest Check-Ins

Great place to stop. No gravel roads to this destination. We were the only ones in this small parking area. Very peaceful - no highway noise. If you stop by the monument, make sure to walk around and get the sun behind it. The middle of it is glass and it will show up bright green.

Report Check-In

A huge parking area not far from highway 25 between Socorro and Truth or Consequences. Beautiful views, great cell service, trails, and no long gravel road to go on. On the left 1.3 miles after the Camino Real Museum Art Structure. Highly recommend peaceful, safe place that would accommodate any size rig.
