The road is still very bad, 15-20km/hr, Banyo to Magda lots of stuck trucks but passable
Report Check-InWell the road from banyo to magba is not good... we did it in september and it tooks us few days (could also be done faster but we didn't want to drive 10h per day). Around 12km/h. Also we really enjoyed to go slowly because it's possible to find really nice, peacefull and beautiful spot in this Mountain. So no need to go fast, just enjoying the nature and the freedom of sleeping here.
Report Check-Inwell, its a really bad road, raining is worse!
you have ti take it easy, hight chance to broke something.
This is still a very bad road. Non stop potholes. I did Banyo to Magba in 7 hours, slower than the locals but probably still too fast and caused some clutch damage to my Hilux I've had to have repaired. My advice, drive slow and do it over a couple of days. Before you hit Magba you should be able to wild camp. From Magba the road is superb and wide, with a quick drive to Foumban.
Report Check-InYep such a bad road where you don’t have another choice than to drive very slowly. Doesn’t seem to be on the way to change soon :/
