Sendero Glaciar Exploradores | Tourist Attraction

I'll try to organize the information for people that were confused like us:)
There are 2 owners to this park- Conaf and Private. They both have senderos.
we parked near the private one and payed 7000pp and walked the short red hike to the Mirador.
Then we went back to the entrance and the nice people there told us that if we pass the bridge ( from this side) there's a Sendero starting there and we don't have to pay.
That's what we've done.
It's a very beautiful hike in a very beautiful day!

Really great hike and spectacular views, well worth the entry fee for us. Mixed clouds that cleared out over the course of the day. The hike is pretty rugged, lots of up/down, roots, boulders, and wooden stairs. We probably spent about 2 hours actually hiking, but did spend 4 hours on the trail taking in the views and wildlife. Saw many condors, magellanic woodpeckers, and lots of other birds in addition to the glacier we came to see. Highly recommended!

Indeed you have to pay to the conaf office 9000 CLP pp and it’s still open between 8:30 to 13:00
It’s a 4h hike, and the path is not that easy. But the view is spectacular ! We had good weather and it’s one of the best view on a glaciar we have done. If you don’t believe me watch the picture ;)

Would love to see how people got in for free…. It’s currently 9,000pp for foreigners, and seems locked after hours

Currently closed due to CONAF strike. A ranger stopped us as we were walking toward the entrance gate and was not friendly.

entrance to the path along the glacier to the viewpoints Alta Platforma and Baja Platforma. If gate is closed ask the Conaf guard to open (office 200m down the road). You cannot enter before 8:30 or after 13:00. Free enrtrance
