Report Check-InThis visit was really spectacular and well worth the 11k entry fee for us. At present time, the road conditions are pretty good, about equal to Rt 7, though it is narrower so you can't cruise as fast. The wild camp spot a few kms to the west of here is fantastic with good wind protection.
Report Check-InNow 11,000 each. One short 40 minute walk, one long 4 hour walk. Low cloud, didn't think worth it. Closed Mondays.
Report Check-InJust to make clear my report below: Sorry, prices of course in CLP, not ARS
Report Check-InYou have to pay 9000ARS for entry to the park and there is just one trail without the view of the glacier. Much more worthy to continue the road and enter the park at the next point - 300m - private sector. For 5000ARS you have two trails with glacier view and two in the forest by the river. Toilets and water available and you can spend a night at their parking lot.
Report Check-InClosed due to strike. Only open for glacier hikes booked through Pto Rio Tranquilo, but their free trail up the road is closed. Not very friendly ranger.
