Very quiet place, only a few cars pass here daily. You can safely park next to the road, levelled spot not hard to find. There's a wooden bench in front of the lake you can relax on. We had this strip of the beach to ourselves. Lots of food stalls about a 20min walk, 5, 10 mins more to the center of town. You can have your car blessed at the basilica, don't forget to give your ride a hat!

Nice place, few locals passed by in the evening. + Police checked on us around 8 pm and said “Good night!”.
Report Check-InGood, quiet and safe place. Near the lake, so yo can wash clothes and dishes. A few minutes walk from the center. There is phone signal but is better near the town. Good place for pets and also for tents.
Buen lugar, tranquilo y seguro. Esta cerca del lago, ideal para lavar ropa y platos (sin contaminar). A unos minutos caminando del centro. Hay señal telefónica pero nos funcionó mejor cuando estuvimos en la ciudad.
Lugar ideal para mascotas así como también para armar una carpa.
Stayed 2 Nights. Flat with gorgeous views on the lake. Lot of stray dogs hang around this terrain, come and go in big groups, barking at the vehicle also at night. So not so quiet and peaceful but still okay. Better than staying in town where there’s car robberies.
Don’t park under the trees because a huge tree trunk broke off at night. Be careful.
Very quiet, safe place, right on the lakeside. Some trash but there is everywhere.
