Walmart Parking Lot - large parking lot for several stores, but parked in front of Walmart but far away at the back end. Quiet, several cars/vans parked overnight, as well as a couple RVs.
It was quiet, well lit. Parking lot sweeper car passed by in the middle of the night briefly and that made noise, but they didn't disturb the cars parked there.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Pulled up late last evening. Security was driving around but there were like 3 other RVs and 2 vans parked here so we stayed in the back of the lot. Got up at 7 to leave but we’re exhausted so we stayed longer and got knocked on at 10am by security. He knocked and then 5 mins later just payed on his horn next to me. I rolled down the window and he apologized and just said we had to leave cause they have the no parking overnight sign. He said he’d has to do this every day. My thing is, he let us stay there all night before knocking. And all of the other rvs and vans were still there too. So I’m appreciative that he let us sleep and stay until at least 10am. Your choice to stay or not but I would again because it was a peaceful night otherwise. I’d just leave by early morning.
Report Check-InStayed here one night as the Walmart in National City does not allow overnight parking. There were a few other RVs. Very quiet.
Report Check-InWasn’t sure about it because of the checkins here, but when I arrived there was a whole RV in the lot and a handful of sprinter vans. Parked towards the back next to one. Lights aren’t too bright and lot is very quiet. Subaru sleeping so I’ll adjust this in the AM if we get knocked at. But otherwise.. if no further edits are made it was probably a wonderfully peaceful evening.
Report Check-InI tried to park here but got nervous because there’s a sign on a tree facing the Best Buy parking lot that says no overnight parking allowed. Since the Walmart shares a parking lot with the adjacent stores, I asked customer service if I could park overnight here and they said no per city code.
