Description

Demanded 20.000 CAF when we arrived (from Congo). Fee applicable only to tourists. After we told them that we will call Cameroon embassy in Brazzaville, suddenly they only wanted to see the entry stamp in our carnet. Don't get scammed by them, stay patient and they will eventually let you go.

Report Check-In

The guy asked us 5k per person. We said that nobody had asked us before, at Cameroon, and he let us go. In fact, he was the third one to ask bribe.

In the next checkpoint, the guy asked me to open my backpack and I had to explain what were my things. After that, he asked twice if I had cocaine. And completed: are you sure?

Report Check-In

We were asked for 10.000 after we were registered in a book. Maybe not the nicest way to get out of this but we picked up our passports (they were within our reach) and just lowered the barrier ourselves. Probably the next time they will keep a passport more close to them
