Military area. We are not allow here . They stopped me on my way there.

Report Check-In

Access to the beach, turn right at this point : -11.38065, 13.811659
The track is a bit steep on the last part but no problem with a 4x4 (be sure your diff lock is working ;) Once you are on the beach, you can camp anywhere. We stayed there 2 night, totally peaceful and quiet. A real little paradise as said before.

Truly a little paradise. The last part to the beach is a bit washed out but still doable with a 4x4 and ground clearance.
Be careful of the waves, the second day we stayed there they came very far in, all the way to the area with the plants. Staying at the very end of the beach was therefore the best spot, you‘re a bit protected from the waves by the rocks.

We went in this direction but then decided to stay at the top. Instead of taking right to go down the hill we continued straight, passed some kind of abandoned houses and followed the path for a few hundred meters. We slept on the edge of a hill with a beautiful view around. You can see the spot and the path on Google maps : -11.378469, 13.808451 it’s flat, 2g reception, very quiet.

Amazing place. Thank you for adding. We stopped half way down the beach, as sand is very very soft, need to deflate tyres- our transmission got a bit hot! The 20m decent to beach really is steep, take care. Agree it is a bad idea when wet.

Wonderfull place, nice spot. Thank you for sharing. Everything was like it was said before. We will not advice it to do with a big rig.

This is the best place in this area. This is actually one my favourite places from 2 months of travelling. You can access this beach not from the street which leads to the lighthouse, but from the street south of that one. You can find the street which leads to a small fisher town on maps me. (-11.377911, 13.805083) From that fisher town you can access the long beach and drive on it as far as possible. Just be aware that the last 20 meters down to the beach are not possible when the road is wet. Because its really steep and corodated. If you need shade there is on palm tree on the way but I had a shadow awning so I went all the way to the „end“. There you have your privacy and nobody will disturb you. You can run around naked for more days if you like. The perfect honeymoon place 😂👌 Behind the beach are hills and bushes and after that dead end for the car you can walk endless walks on beaches in different bays which you will have entirely for yourself. Please dont litter that little paradies.
