A few parking lots to choose from, I spent my night in the one adjacent to the lot with the bathroom (the middle lot?) and wasn't bothered. The river that runs through was a nice bonus; will stay here again if passing through the area.

Make sure you take the right turn (google maps doesn’t tell you exactly which turn to take) and DONT camp on the pull out right in front of the Army HQ and dam.

There’s a nice little park and trail, so it’s easy to mistake as the spot, but it’s directly on a busy road. You’ll have fast moving traffic right on you all night long. In my sleepy stupor I thought this was the place!

Great space to spend the night. We got in after dark but were able to get a spot as close to the base of the dam as possible and could hear rushing water all night. Really great spot.

we did not stay on the boat ramp area because there is a “no camping” sign at the entrance to the site. we went to the parking lot 20m from the entrance, which overlooks the road.
we slept well and no one disturbed us.

Super nice area to camp. No one bothered me. Bathrooms are trippy 1970s foot pumps, but pretty clean. There is a hose spigot, but it was turned off while I was there. Must be for the winter.

Great spot. Restrooms, water, electricity. Just us, no problems

Very quiet. Did get a midnight Sheriff visit. Took down our passport and vehicle information and said we could stay the night anyway. Oh, this is a reputedly enforced dry county so don’t drink while visiting.

Nice peaceful parking area with a beautiful river just below. Bathrooms available but not in great shape. Electric available under shelter. Stayed one night with one other van in the lot and no one bothered me.

Super nice spot. Electricity, toilets, water and tables. Sherif came to check if we were ok. In front of the river. We should have more place like that!
