One of the few campsites in New Jersey that are Open this time of year (winter). $30 a night. A little pricey but it does include Showers. Be advised that the Shotwell campground is the only campground that allows dogs.

Lovely forest area, we stayed in the Lake Ocquittunkand campsite. It was mostly smooth drive in to it, the road that the leads to the sites was very bumpy on one side of the road. We stayed in site 008, there was a slight dip from the road to the sites in that area so be careful if you're in a large vehicle, we were in a Sprinter, but the site itself was flat and we had lots of space. There was access to a water spigot and toilets were right around the corner. Unfortunately the showers weren't working but we could have used showers at a different campsite. Black bears are active so be prepared. We had a fire pit and a picnic table at our site too, we bought fire wood from a house right outside the campsite.
