Description

Big area next to the road with great view above St. Lawrence Bay. Road in not so good condition, big holes, may be muddy/slippery when raining. If you walk up the hill a little further you can get cell service.

We stayed 1 night and it was amazing. Road was rough, my 2wd 93, chev g20 made it down and up no problem though. Amazing sunset over the look off. Was definitely worth going to.

I would recommend 4WD or high clearance vehicle. But passenger cars seem to make it up as well. Gorgeous location.

The road is so horrendous!!! I wouldn't recommend going here unless you have 4×4, and not during bad weather. I went up but didn't feel safe enough to stay especially when the forecast said rain and windy, there's no reception either. If you're stuck on the road because of bad weather, you can't call emergency up there. I was seriously nervous driving all the way up. The view was nice but not worth it for that much trouble, especially if you travel alone like me. There are more beautiful places to stay at without all the trouble. Overall, I don't recommend this place unless you're traveling with someone else and have good 4×4.

Great place with amazing views, very quiet. Litte traffic on the road nearby.

We had the place to ourselves and had a great view overlooking Bay St. Lawrence. Good spot with a fire pit and privacy. The road was a bit washed out in places but was passable if you take your time. It got quite windy through the night.

Quiet spot. Great view. Fog was relentless but a great private spot to let our dogs run

Great spot with amazing view ont at-margarets village. Road is a little rough but over all it’s alright. The spot is great for bonfire.

Road is tough to get up. Suggest 4X4 in areas. Beautiful location once here.

GPS coordinates not right, you can drive more 150m, near tower left. Nice place, fireplace, after rain road was very bad.

After going to Meat Cove proper I found this was the best spot as the lighthouse was occupied. Had three other neighbors very quiet night.

Beautiful views, quiet. We were the only ones there. We saw moose tracks but no moose...There’s a fire pit and pretty flat spot to park.

Really great view. Very nice. It is near the road 6014, but very calm.

Spectacular place with a view across the St. Lawrence Bay on the Road to Cape North which is very steep with and a bit rocky. Take your time for the drive, it is worth it. Absolutely quiet.

Able to pass with a small car.
