Site #1 of NFS Dispersed Camping sites on Bannie Mine Road. Not for big rigs! This site is not level, but there are options for alignment. Set off the road by 40’ or so. Next two sites are more like pull offs, next to the road. Some good, partial sun for my solar. Traffic can be heard from the main road.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Site #2. Just off the access road, not quite level but manageable in our Transit. Partially shaded. Despite being next to the access road very little traffic heading further in during the week, quiet and beautiful spot to spend a few nights

Report Check-InThis is the second road of dispersed spots, we are in site 1. I have 2 Verizon LTE bars. Road was rutted pretty bad coming in, but we managed with a 21 foot trailer. We had to go down the road and turn around to get the angle to back in. There is a hiking and biking trail 50 feet from camp. Unfortunately, there is a lot of trash and toilet paper littering the site and the two trees near the fire ring are hacked up and abused.
