As mentioned, big sport area with parking close to center city. We arrived late and there was nobody at the entrance, but the guy came in the morning to collect the 50 pesos.
It is quite noisy but we felt safe.
Good place to stay overnight we felt safe.
Charged 50 pesos for 24 hours. A bit noisy until 11 PM but after that it was ok. The downtown is very vibrant and cute! We loved the hike to Cascadas Azules.

Report Check-InGot here late at night. Nobody there to charge so stayed for free. 10 minutes walk to downtown. Lots of room and safe
Report Check-InSlept here one night, felt super safe. Not so much noisy but I think it’s low season now, we were the only car in the parking space during the night.
We arrived around 4:30pm were charged 50$ pesos but 10 minutes later the person collecting the money were gone so it could have been free … They said the gate will be closed at 8:00pm but never was. I dont feel like this is an official « paid parking » but for 50$ pesos, whatever !
Report Check-InGreat spot in a dirt parking lot. It’s 10 minute walk to the main square, so really convenient for visiting Tequila.
The lot is paid (50mxn / day). We stayed four nights but only got charged once.
It’s next to a soccer field. The washrooms were only open when soccer games are on.
Report Check-Inparking is free except weekends!
but think about: three streets are going round the parking lot and Tequila is a very noisy city. we heard very loud Bass coming from cars till two in the morning

Report Check-InGreat spot for a few nights. Huge lot. Safe and quiets down by 9pm or so. It would be nice to update the IOverlander name to: Unidad Deportiva Fco. Javier Sauza Mora “El Uno”.
It’s the large parking lot for the soccer fields. 50 pesos for the night, but we arrived at 6pm or so and there wasn’t anyone around to pay.
