Great space to park overnight and cook up breakfast with views of the rivers and tug boats coming thru. Remote and felt safe here. Some road noise and tug boats but quiet enough. Room for bigger rigs. Picnic benches under cover and trash cans.

Had a great nice here. We loved watching the tug boats. Such a great spot.
Report Check-InArrived at dusk on a Thursday afternoon in December. I was the only one here, nobody even drove through over night. Lots of room in the big paved parking lot, some low rumble noise from the tugs pushing barges around on the river but quiet enough. Great place for an overnight.
Report Check-InWe enjoyed the peace and quiet. couple of fishermen and 1 other camper, so we had the whole park to ourselves. Lots of room for any size rig and lots of room for our dog to explore and play. Its you and mother nature, and of course lots of tugboats and barges. Police came by a couple of times and verified its ok to stay there and its safe. It's a state park, but its a forgotten state park. Fort Defiance State Park.
Perfect stop along the way, view Mississippi River bridge and Ohio River bridge at the same time.
