Description

Parking lot at the corner of N. Macdonald St and W. First Street, 1 block north of Main Street, in downtown Mesa. Steps from Museum of Natural History, which is amazing. Lots of restaurants on Main Street, Post Office one block east from the parking lot. Quiet. Residential area. We camp in a 32’ Class C. We parked by the fence in the back as far as possible. Please no big RVs.

Great van overnight place to enjoy downtown Mesa. Be sure to try Outcast donuts and visit the artist studios at Main and Macdonald.

Good spot, very dark parking lot, stayed for 2 nights, had no issues.

Yes, this lot is packed with church-goers on Sunday. I arrived at 6:30pm, no chance. But then at 7:30pm there were plenty of spaces open.

As far as parking lots go this was one was good. Safe, quiet, not a lot of privacy but that’s expected in a parking lot.

Stayed here for a night. Decent spot close to downtown like everyone else said.

Really awesome location for a city night. Stayed here on a weekend and weeknight. Quiet at night and in the morning both times. Felt really safe. Vans parked along back side of parking lot. Keep it clean so they continue to allow this! Jareds coffee shop is awesome just a short walk away and downtown window shopping is also great from here. Highly recommend!

Very level parking lot virtually empty in the evening. We enjoyed a quiet nights sleep and definitely appreciate being able to stay comfortably overnight in this residential area. Our rig is a Truck with slide in camper...25 ft long.

Quiet parking. Avoid being here on Sundays around 3 PM and 6 PM since. There is a church across the street and the parking tends to be full of cars for the occasion.

Nice level lot. Relatively quiet. It was quite popular, several vans and RVs. Near the cop shop, felt safe.

Great, quiet parking lot. Arrived after dark and saw 2 other vans there who also stayed overnight. We're non-stealth in a teardrop and had no problems. Very shadow heavy area

I stayed here nearly 24 hours and had no problems at all. One other van was here overnight and there were no more than 10 vehicles in the lot at any given time. Will return while I’m in town.

This lot is in Mesa’s historic downtown area, which is probably the best part of Mesa, if you ask me. The neighborhood to the north is a nice place to walk a dog if you need to, then south is plenty of restaurants/shops and things to see.

Best for vans probably, no larger rigs as the lot is fairly small. Weekdays are best as Sat there’s often local events, and Sun the church across the street has service.

Nice area and quiet, but filling out in the morning by 7:00 am on weekdays I presume
