A bit hard to find but here is how you can get there: Option 1. Drive literally through the sport playground. Option 2: Take the road off 120 to the south (the one that continues for a while). Very soon you will find a camping sign and a very steep road going down to your right.
Don't expect much: the place looks like a construction area. Clean flush toilets. Some showers but I did not understand if they work or not. Some trash around. Paid MX $150 per vehicle. Please please bring some dog food if you can. There are so many underfed dogs.
Felt safe, quiet at night, no issues. Some roosters and dogs in the distance.
This place is located at about 2500 m altitude and it gets chilly at night (about 10°C). Everything is still green now in June which is amazing.
Report Check-InThis place is just fantastic. Felix and his wife Theresa are the most wonderful hosts. We were broken down and ended up here for 2 weeks. It's beautiful with the apple trees and clouds come in every afternoon and engulf the area. They have level ground, toilet and building a kitchen area. Theresa also would invite us over for delicious food. It's also just a few km from Cuatro Palo, Pinal, El Chuveje and Puente de Dios. Truly a magical place. Stay here and support a great family.
