Description

What a treat. This is an expansive coffee and Cacao growing farm, that welcomes campers of all varieties.

Visitors are welcome to walk through the orchards that run a long way back from the house to a creek. You can learn about how they are processed, or feed the cooks, rabbits, and Guinea Pigs, or just kick back and relax in the shade.

It’s far enough off the PanAm that there is no traffic noises, just your typical farm animal sounds. There are ice creams across the street at the neighbours house and plenty of small shops in the neighbouring houses, or a supermarket and restaurants in the plaza 2km away.

They also have two rooms available, one with a bunk bed and the other has a double and en-suite.

We camped for 10000p each.

You can also see their location on google maps.

Latest Check-Ins

We had a lovely overnight stay here. The road from Popayan to here is stunningly beautiful so be sure to drive here in the daylight if at all possible! There was a young man sitting on a chair outside the bathroom for most of not all of the night. Perhaps a security guard? He was friendly.
All the fruit has been harvested when we were here in April but we still had a nice wander down the path to see the beautiful finca. No cacao or coffee beans are available for purchase unfortunately.
Highly recommend for a night. We took the lower road to get here. Super easy.

Report Check-In

Great quit place to spent the night. Really nice people who make you feel at home. Paid 10.000.

WARNING: coming from the north map.me recommended the northern road. Although I have a 4x4 Toyota Landcruiser the after rain is a problem. At 800 meters towards the place the road was closed and local person said it was impossible to drive. A wooden pole is blocking the entrance.
So always take the southern approach. Right after the entrance there is a local small supermarket.

Great place. Beautiful organic farm/orchard. A lot to discover. Both access roads are open, the north side is more adventurous and requires 4x4 on a rainy day. South access is easy peasy for any vehicle. To make the turn from the road 8m length is indeed the max. If you’re over 3.5m high they need to push the cable up at the house, no problems there.

You camp in the families garden with many fruits, coffee and a small pont. Very friendly people, welcomed us with a mango juice when we arrived tired after the steep climb. They also offered a coffee in the morning. Very quiet at night apart from some dogs and roosters. Also they have two lovely cats and a nice dog. 10.000 COP each for camping.

Came CYCLING (3 ppl + dog).
10k COP/p/night.
Cold shower, equiped kitchen, campground.

DO NOT take the first road to the right on the panamerican. We did 1h for 4km...
Instead go further on the panamerican and then uphill to finca.

Very quiet place. We arrived from popayan but it was dark because we was waiting 1h because of works. So plan your journey! Don’t take the first road from popayan. Take the second at Parraga. Be careful it’s on your left after 2,2 km before you arrive in a jonction. Don’t go over the jonction! There is no sign, only Villa maria on the red wall of house. Enter is not so big. No higher limit but not very large. We passed with our 8m véhicule but not longer.
